ASC4-RTH is an automated abrasive disc changeover system for handheld tools developed by DS Technology. Supports up to 4 different disc types/sizes by default, with optional expansion for additional specifications. The system features a patented peeling mechanism for stable removal of used discs and an easy-access external replacement structure for improved operational stability and maintenance convenience.
When integrated with a robotic Tool Changer, it enables fully automated tool and media replacement, supporting flexible material and tool combinations for enhanced process agility and productivity.
Purpose-built for RTH-2TP and RTH-2P robotic platforms, compatible with LCZ100, LCZ300, LRCZ300 compliant force sanding tools, using standard Hook & Loop (Velcro) fastening. Supports automatic replacement of common disc sizes such as 2”, 3”, 5”, 6” round, triangular, and rectangular shapes.
