Note: Available to Authorized SmartCore AI™ | MES, FMS, and SmartTool AI™ Users
Query information across manufacturing systems using natural language, without learning complex query syntax or knowing in advance which system or report contains the data.
SmartCore AI™ goes beyond answering what happened. It correlates authorized work-order, scheduling, equipment, quality, material, tooling, and manufacturing automation data to help identify exceptions, bottlenecks, and potential risks.
Quickly access the latest manufacturing information
Ask about equipment status, exception history, utilization, production progress, tooling, and automated manufacturing status. SmartCore AI™ queries connected and authorized data from SmartCore AI™ | MES, SmartCore AI™ | FMS, and SmartTool AI™ according to user permissions, using system data as the basis for its responses rather than relying on predefined reports.
Connect core manufacturing data
Work orders, schedules, equipment, personnel, quality, materials, tooling, FMS automation status, and production progress can be queried across systems from a single conversational interface, without switching between systems or reports.
Data sources and update times are available
Responses can display internal data sources and update times. When Web Search is enabled, external citations can also be shown. System data, external information, and AI-generated analysis are distinguished to improve verifiability and reduce the risk of misinterpretation.
Proactive notifications when usage reaches 80% and 100%
Each interaction displays Token usage and the corresponding cost, together with allowance status and usage alerts, helping organizations monitor AI consumption and spending.
Subscription and payment setup takes approximately five minutes. The current Token allowance becomes available after the initial payment is completed.

When the current Token allowance is exhausted, any response already in progress will be completed before new queries are paused. Additional Tokens can be purchased from the account portal, and service resumes after payment is completed.
The system proactively notifies users when usage reaches 80% and 100% of the current allowance, allowing time to purchase additional capacity or adjust usage.
Additional usage is priced at a single rate: NT$1,000 (tax included) provides 750,000 Tokens, regardless of plan or purchase quantity. The Basic Plan uses the lightweight model; users on the Advanced and Enterprise Plans can choose from three analysis models, with higher-capability models consuming more Tokens per query.
| Analysis Model | Best For | Token Consumption per Query | Available Plans |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lightweight Model | Simple queries | Approx. 0.6× | All plans |
| Balanced Model | Everyday queries | 1× (baseline) | Advanced, Enterprise |
| High-Capability Model | Complex follow-up questions, cross-module analysis | Approx. 1.45× | Advanced, Enterprise |
Note: Additional purchased allowances are not limited to the current billing period and remain available while the subscription is active. Purchases are non-refundable once paid. Web Search (Advanced and Enterprise Plans) consumes approximately 35% additional Tokens per query. Actual model versions are subject to current availability.
SmartCore AI™ is designed with enterprise manufacturing data security in mind, using access controls, read-only analysis, minimum-necessary data access, and source traceability to reduce data risks when adopting generative AI.
SmartCore AI™ uses the OpenAI API for selected AI inference and Web Search capabilities. Enterprise data handling follows both SmartCore AI™ system settings and OpenAI’s current API data policies.

SmartCore AI™ accesses data according to the user roles, data permissions, and authorization scope of connected manufacturing systems.
Authorized connections may include SmartCore AI™ | MES, SmartCore AI™ | FMS, and SmartTool AI™. Natural-language queries do not bypass existing system permissions.

SmartCore AI™ is designed for querying and analysis and does not directly modify work orders, scheduling controls, quality decisions, tooling data, equipment parameters, or shop-floor control commands.

SmartCore AI™ accesses only the authorized data required for the requested query or analysis, reducing unnecessary transmission of enterprise data.

AI responses can display internal data sources and update times. When Web Search is enabled, external citations can also be shown, helping users distinguish system data, external information, and AI-generated analysis.
Business data is not made available as an enterprise data source directly accessible to other customers, and is not used to train OpenAI models by default. To provide the API, security safeguards, and necessary technical services, data may be processed to the extent necessary by authorized OpenAI personnel or service providers bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
When cloud AI API features are used, the system server requires an authorized, secure outbound connection. CNCs, PLCs, and OT equipment themselves do not need to be directly exposed to the public Internet.

Uses only connected and authorized internal manufacturing data from SmartCore AI™ | MES, SmartCore AI™ | FMS, and SmartTool AI™ for queries and analysis, without external web search.

Enables Web Search according to the subscription plan and user permissions to retrieve current public web information and compare technical specifications, materials, standards, and public industry information with internal manufacturing data and capabilities.
Web Search responses can include external source citations so users can verify the information. When web-search results are presented in the product interface, source citations should be clearly displayed and accessible.
For unpublished drawings, customer confidential information, personal data, defense/export-controlled information, or other sensitive manufacturing data, the use of Web Search or other external data services should follow the organization’s information-security policies.
Enabling Web Search does not mean that complete internal enterprise data should be submitted as search content. SmartCore AI™ should use only the information necessary to complete the external query, reducing unnecessary transmission of sensitive data.
To learn how SmartCore AI™ collects, processes, and protects your data, please refer to the SmartCore AI™ Privacy Policy.
